It is the Government Ministry responsible for national ICT development and policy.The Technology Division within the Ministry of Commerce, Science and Technology (MCST) works to support the ICT mandate of the Ministry. It serves as the IT hub of the Ministry. The Information Systems Unit of the Technology Division is headed by the Director of Internal Systems. This Unit is responsible for modernizing and maintaining all MCST internal systems. The Unit also coordinates with other Divisions within the Ministry, in particular the Communications Unit, in relation to the updating of the MinistryÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s web site and Intranet.
