The Trust is also the lead player in the Caribbean Institute of Technology (CIT), which started operation in 1999. Every learner enrolled in a HEART programme is exposed to Information Technology, as workers are prepared for a global, 21st century workforce. HEART also provides occupational certification through the National Vocational Qualifications(NVQ-J)in a number of computer and multimedia related skill sets.
