Description | The Caribbean Telecommunications Union is an organization that acts as catalyst to identify and resolve issues pertaining to national and regional telecommunications policies in the interest of the Caribbean people. The primary function of the CTU is to reengineer the telecommunications policies and regulatory framework of the region. One of the key features of the organization has been to initiate a campaign to target the process of capacity building as well as sensitization exercises and direct technical assistance. Another task of the CTU is to determine the various sources of technology and standards. |
