Brief Description |
The project is intended to promote enhanced efficiency in personal and corporate transactions through access to modern electronic means thereby reducing transaction costs and increasing the use of ICTs in the public and private sector and civil society. The main components are:
- Egovernment which will involves the enabling of online government transactions such as the payment of taxes, customs duties etc;
- Institutional strengthening of the Ministry of Commerce, Science and Technology;
- Community Outreach which will involve the establishment of community access points(CAPs)around the island;
- Human resource capoacity building to enhance the pool of ICT trained persons as well as to support the implementation of the project |
